高岡クラフト市場街が始まりました！

数ある高岡の「ものづくり」イベントの中で一番大きなイベント、「高岡クラフト市場街」が始まりました！

クラフト好きの皆様、この期間の高岡は熱いですよ。町のいたるところでイベントが行われています。市内約30カ所の会場で「高岡クラフトコンペ」入選作品展示、工芸品のショップ、「ものづくり」の現場を廻る工場見学ツアー、ワークショップ、そして食とクラフトのコラボレーションなど、さまざまな催しが開催されます。書いているだけで、ワクワクしてきます。

『富山プロダクトデザインコンペティション』の最終審査会

本日は『富山プロダクトデザインコンペティション』の最終審査会！写真は表彰式の様子です。『富山…』というタイトルですが、毎年若いデザイナーの登竜門として、日本全国から素晴らしい作品が寄せられ、公開審査されるこのコンペ！何より目玉となっているのは、受賞作品が商品化しやすいということ。 naftとはとっても縁が深く、2011年のグランプリであるcollinette、2012年の準グランプリのsolano（受賞時ku-sen）と、2年連続でnaftから発売させていただきました♪ 今年もどんな作品が入賞したのか楽しみですね。展示会は明日から7日まで


Today is the award ceremony of the Toyama Product Design Competition.

Even it is named ‘Toyama’, the competition is one of the most distinguished events in Japan. As the awarded products tend to be commercialised swiftly, it is the great gateway to success for young designers. We have also collaborated with those designers. For example, our aluminium acupressure massager ‘collinette’ won the first prize in 2011, and self-standing fan ‘solano’ (aka ‘ku-sen’) won the second prize in 2012.

What kind of product won this year? Will some of them become naft product in the future?

The awarded products are displayed until 7th October.

高岡クラフト市場街

ナガエの本社がある高岡市は、高岡漆器、高岡銅器などの伝統産業が盛んな市です。それに関する様々なイベントが一年中あるのですが、10月3日から7日には「高岡クラフト市場街」が行われます。期間中、「ものづくり」に関する様々なワークショップや展示が行われ、高岡が「ものづくり」一色に染まります。

是非、高岡にお越しください。


Our office is located in Takaoka-shi, which is known for Japanese urushi lacquer, metal works and woodworks. The city has top-quality processing techniques, fro polishing to colouring.  all the skills required at each step can be found here. Under such a circumstance, we have many events related craftsmanship and design throughout the year.

From 3rd to 7th October, ‘Takaoka Craft Ichiba-machi’ is to be held. There are many activities related craftsmanship during the event.

Please come and enjoy the latest works as well as traditional ones.

About Sei Kannon Bosatsu,
As one of Japan’s most beloved deities, Sei Kannon Bosatsu is often called God or Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. It commonly holds a lotus bud or water vase, and wears a crown that contains a small image of Amida Buddha. It is said to appear in thirty three forms to save people. In modern Japan, its 33 forms are the basis for hundreds of Kannon Pilgrimage Circuits.

東京国際ギフトショーに出展しました

東京国際ギフトショーに出展しました。


We took part in ‘Tokyo International Gift Show’ and were excited by many visitors. Thank you so much!

This time we introduced our Buddha figurines from ‘ginga-do’ collection as well as naft products. While our ‘naft’ line is in collaboration with up-and-coming designers and focus on modern home accessories, our ‘ginga-do’ collection supplies Japanese traditional products. It has recently launched new Buddha figurines with ‘Antique-looking finish’. Gold plating has been most frequently used. Besides, we suggest ‘Antique-looking finishing’ that give the surface distinguishing appearance and suitable for modern interior.
We are happy to inform you both of lines had a good response to visitors in the show.

NYNOW 2013 に参加してまいりました。

8月18日～21日の会期で米国NY、ジャビッツ・コンベンションセンターにおいて開催されましたNYNOW2013に今年も参加してまいりました。当社オリジナルブランドのnaftのアイテムから、当社のオリジンとも言うべき仏像まで出展。1月展に引き続き新たなお客様の開拓も出来エキサイティングな展示会となりました。

今回は、ロストワックスの現場です。
ロストワックス製法は、伝統的な蝋型鋳造法に近い鋳造法で、形状の再現性の高さ、鋳肌の美しさが良いのが特長です。複雑な形状の美術品の鋳造にも利用されています。蝋にあたるワックス型はシリコンゴムでつくります。

第一弾は、高岡のどこかの鋳物屋さんの壁。
私が唯一理解できるのは「坩堝（るつぼ）」（金属を溶かすために使う容器のこと）だけですが…

銅器の町、高岡は400年の歴史があります。その間、職人さんたちが、技術を磨いてこられました。そのおかげで、高いの鋳造・加工技術が今も引き継がれています。鋳造に関する全ての工程が、市内で可能なのです。
そんな銅器の町なので、町を歩いていると、こんな不思議な光景に出くわすこともあるかもしれませんよ。

Takaoka is renowned for its metalwork, produced by an industry dating back more than 400 years. In its heyday artisans developed a wide range of casting techniques. Under such a circumstance, we develop and manufacture a wide variety of metal products, combining traditional techniques and the latest metal moulding and processing technologies.

You will see ‘kanaya-machi’ tomorrow. The town is the birthplace of the city and the centre of Takaoka Copperware industry. It boasts traditional buildings, both warehouses and townhouses, along a cobbled street. Lovely place to take a walk.

2月15日～19日：アンビエンテ 2013 （ドイツ）に出展いたしました。


Our next show was ‘Ambiente 2013’ in Frankfurt, Germany from 15 th 19th Feb.
As it is our first time to introduce our ‘naft’ products in Germany, we were nervous and excited. While the 1st and 2nd days of the fair do not seem to have been so crowded, our eye-catching products such as a ‘shizuka’ vase collection seduced people.

With Shizuka vase collection, you can make desktop zen garden easily and introduce relaxation into your busy day.

About 雫影 Shizuka vase collection:
This vase collection is both decorative and useful adding a modern/classic touch. You can place the vase anywhere and make a miniature Japanese garden. You don’t have to prepare for a bunch of flowers. With a flower or more, you can make a Japanese garden in your room. Putting a small stone or floating flower petals on the vase, you can also enjoy arranging your small garden as you wish.

東京国際ギフトショーに出展しました

ご挨拶が遅くなりましたが、第75回 東京インターナショナル・ギフト・ショーで弊社ブースにご来場いただきました皆様、ありがとうございました。
今回のショーでは、solano、rondo、Oyster incense、magmaを発表しました。

写真は新商品のデスクトップうちわ”solano”です。ゆらゆら揺れて涼を感じさせてくれます。今夏発売予定です。

東京ギフトショーに出展します！

明日から始まる東京ギフトショーに出展します！

New York International Gift Fairに出展します。

2013年1月27日～30日にニューヨーク・インターナショナル・ギフト・フェア（NYIGF）に株式会社ナガエは出展いたします。

今回も2012年8月展に引き続き、”Accent on Design”エリアにてEastern Accent社様との共同出展です。

NYIGFは、世界で一番大きなギフトショーの一つで、北米だけでなく、世界各地からバイヤーさんが集う場所です。naft製品の紹介に格好の機会。

ブース番号は3820です。

We are happy to inform you that NAGAE Ltd. is going to attend the New York International Gift Fair at the Javits Center. The show is one of the largest in the world. As it is a marketplace-style convention characterized by endless rows of exhibitors and clamouring throngs of buyers around the world, we believe it is the great chance to introduce our naft products.

Along with last one in summer, we are going to take part in the show with Eastern Accent. Our booth is located on “Accent on Design”. We hope we will see you there.

ほぼ日雫影　（Flower Arrangement of the day）

あけましておめでとうございます。
本日から、naftも仕事はじめです。
今年最初の”ほぼ日雫影”は、弊社の賀詞交歓会でテーブルを彩った、アレンジです。

葉牡丹と木瓜の枝、針山の周りにセンリョウの赤い実がかわいい、ハレの日仕様♪お家でも、こんなアレンジで、お正月のお客様をおもてなししてみたいですね～

There are ornamental cabbage and sarcandra glabra.
