おもむろに現場写真を上げていくシリーズ　その１

第一弾は、高岡のどこかの鋳物屋さんの壁。
私が唯一理解できるのは「坩堝（るつぼ）」（金属を溶かすために使う容器のこと）だけですが…

銅器の町、高岡は400年の歴史があります。その間、職人さんたちが、技術を磨いてこられました。そのおかげで、高いの鋳造・加工技術が今も引き継がれています。鋳造に関する全ての工程が、市内で可能なのです。
そんな銅器の町なので、町を歩いていると、こんな不思議な光景に出くわすこともあるかもしれませんよ。

Takaoka is renowned for its metalwork, produced by an industry dating back more than 400 years. As the local artisans have developed a wide range of casting techniques, the city has top-quality casting and processing techniques. All the skills required at each step can be found here.

When you take a walk in Takaoka, you might bump into a strange code like the above picture.

As you might have watched the popular programme before, it will broadcast directly from Takaoka-shi where our head office is located.

Takaoka is renowned for its metalwork, produced by an industry dating back more than 400 years. In its heyday artisans developed a wide range of casting techniques. Under such a circumstance, we develop and manufacture a wide variety of metal products, combining traditional techniques and the latest metal moulding and processing technologies.

You will see ‘kanaya-machi’ tomorrow. The town is the birthplace of the city and the centre of Takaoka Copperware industry. It boasts traditional buildings, both warehouses and townhouses, along a cobbled street. Lovely place to take a walk.

KITTEにて、「北陸工芸フェア」が開催されます。

今週12日～14日は、今話題の「ＫＩＴＴＥ」にて、「北陸工芸フェア」と題した期間限定販売会が開催されます！
福井・石川・富山から、伝統の技が光る逸品が揃います。

‘Hokuriku Crafts fair’ is to be open at KITTE in Tokyo.
You can find great traditional crafts from Hokuriku region (Fukui, Ishikawa, and Toyama).
We are also going to join the fair and introduce our popular products such as Shizuka Vase Collection and a portable massager, collinette.
